Job Description

Working together with a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for revenue from new and existing clients in our growing territories. You are the primary point-of-contact for accounts and are accountable for delivering at above quota sales performance in your region. You are motivated by a hunger to solve critically difficult challenges that face our clients and prospects. You develop trusted relationships at a high executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. This means, that you have a concrete understanding of the customer, our Palo Alto Networks proposition, and are able to help identify critical areas that can be resolved using Palo Alto Networks solutions.

You will lead in identifying prospects and opportunity areas, for which you are able to draw-up concrete plans to be executed in a systematic way and in coöperation with our partners. You are capable to gain credibility as a trusted advisor and will guide your customers in their attempt to transition to a more secure online environment. You feel empowered by our product offerings – and love a technical challenge.

Your Impact

  • Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service; understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts
  • Develop and maintain detailed account plans & profiles to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis
  • Lead and execute business development in a pro-active way, always keeping an eye on your healthy pipeline
  • Lead and coordinate account strategy and sales opportunity tactics for the sales team (inside sales, systems engineering, sales management)
  • Take full reposnsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through to the procurement process.
  • Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners
  • Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets
  • Domestic travel as necessary

Qualifications

  • Exceeding sales quota as a Territory Account Manager, ideally incybersecurity.
  • Master of the sales cycle and the management of it.
  • Deep understanding of channel partners and a channel centric go to market approach.
  • Knowledgeable in Complex Solution Sales methodology
  • Working knowledgeof common sales methodologies (eg. Solution sales, Challenger Sale, SPIN, MEDDIC).
  • Knowledge of how specific industries might leverage security solutions.
  • Builds trust and credibility through presence and subject matter expertise.
  • Great conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Near native Dutch speaker.
