Arioso Music Academy is seeking a fun, positive, talented guitarist to join our team! Flexible schedule of private lessons with a mix of guitar and ukulele students - primarily after school hours as the kids attend school during the day. Can be as little as 3 hours to as many as 25 - perfect side gig for musicians!

All the fun of teaching private lessons without the hassle of self employment tax! No more teaching out of your basement, no more dealing with billing or parents not paying on time, no more hassle of organizing recitals, no more having to deal with parents ignoring your terms and conditions. All of that is taken care of by us!

Requirements:

Must be comfortable working with students ages 5 to adult.

Must be comfortable and confident working primarily on your own.

Must be reliable, professional and responsible.

Must be 17 years of age or older.

Must be willing to commit to your students for at least 1 full season (September to May) or 1 full year (September to August).

Must be upbeat, and able to build confidence in your students in a positive manner.

Teaching experience preferred but not required.

Ability to read sheet music is required.

Ability to play additional instruments is a PLUS!

Pay = $15 - 21 per hour depending on experience, number of instruments able to teach, as well as number of hours able to work.

Sign on bonus available for candidates who already have music students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

To keep our instructors and students safe we have everyone sanitize everything before/after each lesson. Masks are required and a clear room divider is in place in each studio room to separate the student from the instructor.
