Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist assists with various aspects of the HR function of an Eataly store including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
- Collaborates with the in-store HR team on all aspects of recruiting using the Applicant Tracking System: sources candidates; screens and selects candidates for advancement in the hiring process; coordinates interviews; collects feedback; manages candidate experience and follow up
- Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation through onboarding and new hire orientation
- Assists employees with day-to-day HR related needs
- Maintains personnel files and I-9s
- Assists with the accurate scanning, labeling and uploading of employee documents to the Human Resources Information System
- Coordinates the distribution of communication material to employees
- Provides administrative support for other functional areas within the Human Resources Department
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to be flexible and problem-solve in an operational, dynamic environment
High degree of professionalism and an ability to work reliably with sensitive and confidential material
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take direction and work independently
Fluency in Spanish preferred
