Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead and manage electrical systems and infrastructure for a global tech client's massive Data Center construction and development project onsite in Maiden, North Carolina.This key role will oversee all aspects of electrical design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support for mission-critical facilities. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will work closely with project teams, clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget project delivery.Actual project site is located in Maiden, North Carolina.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage electrical aspects of Data Center construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related matters, maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders.Review and approve electrical designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations, while meeting client requirements for reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.Develop and manage electrical budgets, estimates, and schedules, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders. Identify and address any potential budget or timeline deviations.Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to electrical systems, design, procurement, and construction. Implement strategies to resolve issues and avoid delays.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including civil, mechanical, and structural engineers, to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project scope.Ensure all electrical installations and systems meet or exceed quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Manage subcontractors and electrical vendors, ensuring timely and quality performance. Review and approve submittals, change orders, and progress payments.Oversee commissioning processes, including system testing, troubleshooting, and final system turnover to the client. Ensure thorough documentation and operational manuals are provided.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to electrical systems for Data Centers and apply innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
