Job Description

The Front End AssistantManager helps to oversee all aspects of the Front End operation of an Eataly location. Reports to the Front End Manager & General Manager of Retail; Manages the Front End Leads and team members.

  • Manages the Front End team: hires, schedules, assigns, trains, motivates and disciplines as necessary
  • Remains a visible presence on the floor and participates in all Front End duties, delivering and exemplifying exceptional guest service standards
  • Documents overages and shortages, and enters sales data and deposits
  • Processes and settles daily cash and credit transactions for all departments
  • Processes and prepares shipment of daily cash deposits
  • Approves voids, employee discounts, returns and exchanges
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager in a retail setting, with experience managing a cashier team preferred
  • Business management, analytical and financial skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Requirements

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
