Job Description
As a Product Manager you work inherently cross-functional and in a truly global environment. You will work closely with global development, Sales & marketing teams launching new products and features. Other key responsibilities include monitoring the execution of the project, providing project progress to stakeholders, and pushing for appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project.
The right candidate possesses a strong background in customer-experience, product management or product marketing. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should have a track record of timely delivery of projects, be willing to dig in and get the job done, providing input to speed up key decisions.
You are responsible forAs Senior Product Manager you will drive the definition, development and introduction of winning propositions for the market of Video Systems. By working in close alignment with customers, markets and internal stakeholders, you will strive to continuously improve our integral offerings.
- You are commercially responsible for the success of licensed services powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) running on Bosch surveillance cameras;
- You closely collaborate with other product managers responsible for IP cameras, video management software, AI appliances, etc. and shape Bosch AI video portfolio together;
- You actively do thorough market analysis and generate comprehensive knowledge of customer needs as well as competitor products.
- You cooperate closely with development teams in order to define clear requirements for the customer centric solutions;
- You analyze future projects at the very early stage in order to assess feasibility, desirability and viability of the solution which is going to be introduced.
- You take on the central role in the “Product Introduction Team”, which is responsible for a successful introduction of new products and digital services to the market.
- You ensure the right positioning and promotion of products in the relevant market and communicate the USPs in an appropriate manner.
- You work and communicate closely with the sales and marketing teams in order to successfully launch new products and services to the market.
- You monitor the achievement of the sales targets for these new products and services and suggest corrective measures if required;
- Installation of a continuous feedback loop between regional sales and marketing teams to shape roadmap;
- Derive a clear roadmap and identify roadmap enablers together with the engineering teams;
- Prioritize feature backlog together w/ engineering leads to ensure effectiveness (impact on sales and differentiation);
- Participate in market relevant exhibitions/talks/presentations derive strategic guardrails for future activities to ensure a long term success and growth;
- You are a hands on person who can setup and demonstrate the system to customers, installers, Sales & marketing teams;
- Strong entrepreneurial mind set to prioritize and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, timeline and costs;
- Plan and execute competitive analysis activities and prepare qualitative & quantitative view of performance;
- Travel requirements: up to 20% international & domestic.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:Need-to-have's- Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Sciences or related fields;
- With software intense systems (embedded + enterprise)
- Strong relation to AI based video perception (industrial or medical, automotive, surveillance etc.)
- Strong presenter
- 1st hand experience in GDPR, Copyrights etc.
