Windows helps more than a billion people around the world to Do Great Things, and we are looking for a Program Manager to fill a visible and impactful role that will drive important growth bets across different Windows customers and segments.The Windows Essential Experiences team builds the core interaction experiences in Windows – these range from iconic UI like Start & Taskbar to productivity features like Snap Layouts, and scenarios that span postures like sitting at a desk with external monitors or sitting on the couch without a keyboard attached. We partner closely with Office, Teams, Edge, Surface, and several other app and services providers and OEMs to bring a well-balanced end user experience that matches the customer needs.We are looking for a product-maker who exemplifies the Microsoft leadership principles of creating clarity, generating energy, and tenaciously pursuing outcomes. Demonstrating the ability to scale from concept to delivery across multiple releases is highly desired, across both hardware and software.In this role you will be a product person, design thinker, evangelist, cross-group leader plus a builder of durable partner relationships both internal & external. Identify new opportunities based on customer insights and the product strategy

Drive comprehensive programs that align engineering efforts across teams to the opportunities you identify

Iterate on the solutions you pursue based on feedback and learnings until results are achieved

Generate energy and build consensus on large-scale evolution of the Windows user experience, customer adoption, and satisfaction

Engage and manage exec excitement, expectations, and participation across the Windows LT community

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of product/program management experience

A proven track record of driving a healthy and inclusive team culture, both within and beyond your direct sphere of influence

Accomplished diplomat managing partnerships, negotiation, and conflict resolution using honed communication and presentation skills

Mastery of execution against product and engineering program timelines and logistics

Mastery of navigating ambiguity, considering customer and business perspectives for the optimal outcome

Mastery of managing software and/or service development lifecycles and partnerships with engineering teams
