We are looking for a highly self-motivated and energetic Regional Sales Manager to oversee our territory in North Dakota. This position is responsible for facilitating achievement of our goals by assisting our dealers in building and maintaining the territory.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist our dealers in maintaining and building a territory
Promotion and demonstration of products
Educate each dealership to ensure understanding of products such as parts and service
Set-up, attend and promote regional farm shows. Promote products to producers
Investigate dealer concerns to gain complete understanding and diagnose issues
Achieve sales quota as assigned in territory
Comply with internal policies and procedures for documenting dealer and customer visits
Provide recommendations on marketing strategies for customer business growth
Maintain strong relationships and rapport with existing and new customers within territory
Respond to Dealer telephone, text and email inquiries promptly
Represent Dick Hansen Sales, Inc. at National and Regional meetings as required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Prior experience in Business, Sales or Agriculture
Machinery sales background is a plus
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently and travel territory
Demonstrated skills in selling, negotiating, influencing, and coaching
Customer service orientated
Basic operation of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel is required and includes overnight stays. Travel may be up to 50%, but could be more during key seasons.
