SUMMARY:

The Telematics Coordinator will monitor, adjust, train and fully optimize telematics systems employed by manufacturers of General Equipment & Supplies with respect to the promotion of Parts & Service. This person will work with CSSR's & Salesmen to promote General Equipment & Supplies products/services, while helping the customer control their costs through innovative ideas, prompt follow through, and strong leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate reports as needed

Utilize the KOMTRAX/KOMEXS/Live Link and other satellite systems to manage the customer fleet and provide information to General Equipment employees and customers to coordinate servicing and repairs

Training internal and external personnel on proper use of telematics systems

Interpret and manage error notifications from telematics systems

Contact customers concerning daily alerts and work to promote Service department through telematics

Work with CSSR's or direct with customers to sell maintenance agreements

Maintenance, setup, and daily monitoring of telematics systems, customers, and users.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidate will have a 4-year degree or a 2-year degree with work experience. Degree(s) and work must be in a related field to either Construction Machinery, Construction Management, Project Management and/or Business Management.

This individual must be able to prioritize their time as the varying needs of the customer and management will dictate the day to day duties but must never lose sight of the goal of high customer service for the customer.

Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills

Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects

Must have a positive mental attitude and be able to accept coaching

This individual must possess the understanding of process flows within an organization

This individual must be willing to ask questions when necessary

This individual must be able to communicate with management the tasks at hand, as well as the tasks to be completed to gain feedback necessary to complete the tasks

This individual must be able to think ahead and keep in close contact with managers so that information can be communicated in a timely manner

To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Must be able to quickly learn and use Distributor business system

Must be able to communicate the needs of the customer and work with necessary teams within General Equipment.

Must be able to read, analyze, and use problem solving techniques to promptly and accurately address customer issues.

Must be eager, driven, and a self-starter capable of working alone effectively.
