Job Description
The Project Manager, Chassis is responsible for leading Chassis in Start Cost and Maintenance projects. Will act as Project Manager Lead for the Chassis content of the vehicle, including Brake Systems, Powertrain Installation, Suspension, and Chassis Equipment.
The Project Manager, Chassis will interface with the PME and perhaps Chief Project Managers (CPM) of the assigned projects, and represent Chassis Engineering in project status reporting.The Project Manager, Chassis will follow-up and deliver Product Development projects according to agreed scope, budget, time plan and quality.Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required. Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience. Automotive industry experience is preferred.
- PMP Certification is preferred. Experience in project management is required.
- Strong people / leadership skills, including team building, clear communication, results-oriented, courage and integrity, and good presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
- Competencies: Project Management, Business Acumen, Priority Setting, Planning, Directing Others, Presentation Skills, Conflict Management, and Motivating Others.
Additional Information
- Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
