Accountemps has a number of LONG TERM employment opportunities working in a Fortune 500 financial institution in Fargo, ND focusing on researching and remediating consumer allegations that have been escalated. We are looking for a strong background in research as well as financial services or banking. The ideal candidate is an expert in Microsoft Excel and feels comfortable on the phone! Duties include:
-Conducting intake to determine appropriate course of action
-Conducting investigative steps to fully identify the issues
-Processing complex transactions on-line (including monetary and nonmonetary actions)
-Researching product information, terms, conditions, contracts, etc. and resolving complex problems and inquiries
-Serves as an intermediary between parties to resolve disputed matters, negotiates and enacts settlements accordingly
-Reconciles general ledger accounts to ensure balance
-Handles incoming correspondence in accordance with external and internal policies and procedures
-Generates and/or composes written correspondence as needed
-Reviews data and reports trends to management.
-Duties may also include: account maintenance, report generation, project work and work direction.
Requirements Of the Position
-Must have previous customer service and call center experience
-Ability to review legal documents
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
-Prior experience working in the financial services field
