The Nine Publishing Technology team build and maintain some of the most highly respected and visited websites and mobile apps in Australia, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review and 9Now, as well as their content management systems, services and middleware.We operatea paved path product delivery platform with the specific intent of empowering our developers and allowing them to get our products in front of Australiaas rapidly as possible.
Working in small autonomousAgile team your days will include:- GitOps management of deployment and infrastructure
- Guidingthe technical direction of our infrastructure
- Building next generation Kubernetes and Cloud infrastructure that underpins our award-winning digital journalism and on-demand video streaming platforms
- Working with in-house product delivery teams to implement cloud & automation solutions
- Maintain & enhance CI/CD platforms / processes supporting thousands of active delivery pipelines
- Providing mentorship to other Engineers, particularly in the Kubernetes / Cloud space
- Being available and part of a 24/7 on-call support roster
Qualifications
To secure an interview your application should demonstrate- Proven software engineering & platform skills across large scale/complex platforms
- Implementation/management ofKubernetes inlarge production deployments and strong experience withcontainerizing applications
- Skillsacross various various languages such as: golang, python, node, ruby & zsh/bash/sh
