About This Role

Experienced Industrial Electrician needed in a growing pharmaceutical facility. The Electrician II will be responsible for the upkeep and performance of all electrical systems in a GMP Manufacturing facility. Supports Capital and Construction project activities, including design input and compliance with electrical safety practices.

This role is integral to the success of the site, ensuring reliable electrical systems availability for 24/7 Manufacturing operations.

Job Description

  • Performs corrective work orders in support of Facilities, Laboratory, and Manufacturing operations.
  • Manages electrical contractor activities (installations) and work plans for safety and compliance with NEC.
  • Performs minor wiring modifications to electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoots electrical systems including control circuits.
  • Reads and interprets electrical and engineering drawings.
  • Programs and troubleshoots VFD’s.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on 4160V, 480V, and 120V electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Reads and interprets electrical and engineering drawings.
  • All otherduties ass assigned
  • Ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years working in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • 8+ years industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting single line control schematics, construction plans and control diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or Advanced Degree.
  • Knowledge of chillers, boilers, and HVAC.
  • CMMS experience.
  • NC Licensed Electrician.
