About this Role

The Sr. Operations Administrator provides professional support with a variety of tasks. This position will have a role in assisting the Site with safety, quality, promoting strategy, staffing, and employee morale. In addition, the role will provide support to the manufacturing leadership team with complex meeting support, financial administration and report generation & presentation preparation. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across Biogen.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Employee Experience by managing logistical planning of new employee onboarding and training. Act as Onboarding Coordinator and ensure new hires are prepared to join Biogen and have interaction with manufacturing staff to ensure a seamless entry to the team.
  • Support MFG leadership team members with scheduling team meetings, townhalls and rooms. Assist with presentations and slide decks, report generations, daily huddle meetings, etc. Assists with meeting minutes, action planning and coordination of meeting schedules.
  • Provide Manufacturing Support to include personnel management (i.e., offboarding, updating manufacturing organization charts, sabbatical/vacation/year-end shutdown and other projects deemed necessary).
  • Proactively manage PO’s and expenses to ensure on-time payment and cost center alignment.
  • Organize and coordinate employee events + activities. Suggest and implement other employee engagement initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate on-site VIP meetings with Biogen personnel and outside company representative. May need to assist with travel arrangements for those traveling to the site.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in an administrative or operations support in a manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Must have strong business acumen, excellent time management skills and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have proven success in processes improvement/optimization with increased production; Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Lean experience a plus

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent
