Genuent is becoming INSPYR Solutions is hiring an EPIC Cogito Consultant for our direct client in the Akron, OH area. This is a 6+ month remote contract to hire role with a tentative start date of October, 24. Responsibilities As an expert in the building and troubleshooting of all Cogito Reporting tools, in your role as Senior Cogito Analytics Administrator you will be responsible for coordinating the various build, testing, and training tasks associated with implementing and upgrading Epic modules. In addition, you will serve as the primary backup to the Manager, Cogito Analytics, for all items relating to the implementation and maintenance of predictive models.Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training
  • Epic Certifications in Radar and Reporting Workbench required
  • Epic build experience in a live environment strongly preferred
  • Epic implementation experience specific to clinical workflows and order management strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related organization
  • Strong Query Language programming skills (MS SQL Server/Oracle/Cache platforms)
  • Knowledge of Health Care application reporting concepts, data structures and database design
  • Extensive knowledge of Reporting Workbench or Cache reporting/query preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment
  • Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and query objects
  • Experience in gathering, documenting, prioritizing and tracking requirements
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Advanced analytical skills and expertise in documentation and reporting, with the ability to apply metrics, design and run queries, collect and analyze performance data, and produce sophisticated reports and analyses for management use
  • Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical informatics specialty areas, including knowledge of controlled terminology, clinical workflows, user interface optimization, clinical decision support, rules development, data integration and mining, clinical ontologies and adoption of technology
  • Ability to identify, document, resolve and/or escalate issues and maintain a complete issues log
