French Company LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the organization of a key client project. Reporting to the Director of Operations, your job will be to coordinate people (both internal employees and external vendors) and processes to ensure that this project is delivered on time within scope and budget. You will be the go-to person for everything involving this projects organization and timeline to include all administrative tasks. Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability / allocation and tracking project data to maximize efficiencies and meet deadlines. A strong background in scheduling and dispatching is a must. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, schedule and dispatch internal resources and third parties/vendors on a national scale
Develop a project plan to track progress; decide on suitable strategies and objectives in concert with the Director of Operations
Track expenses to project budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Create procedures, project documentation and training materials
Technical support for client "hot line"
Report and escalate to management as needed
Administrative tasks to include travel arrangements and expense report oversight for employees assigned to project
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Learn internal processes, procedures and systems
Requirements
Strong scheduling and dispatch experience required
Solid working knowledge of project management software
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal)
Adept at managing multiple tasks and responding to changing priorities
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office with above average Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Bachelors Degree or PMP certification is a plus
