Robert Half Legal is assisting a title company located in Akron, Ohio with an immediate Paralegal need. Additional details below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Review legal documents such as contracts, purchase agreements, closing packages, deeds and trust instruments.
Assist with obtaining conveyance deeds and other pertinent documents from outside vendors.
Communicate with customers and borrowers on title and escrow issues affecting loan closings throughout the entire process.
Monitor files to ensure federal and regulatory compliance.
Review title work, environmental reports, surveys, mortgages, loan agreements, and closing statements and assist in resolving lien issues for all files prior to closing.
Provide general paralegal support.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Knowledge of title information, easements, leases, legal descriptions, vesting issues, legal terminology and legal documents.
Candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in title examination, underwriting or escrow.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Ability to work 8 hours per day within a 7:00 am – 7:00 pm schedule Monday – Friday.
Ability to work onsite in Akron, OH once feasible.
Pay: $18 - $23/hour, DOE.
This is a full time position, all work will start remote then transition to onsite and for the right candidate this could transition to a permanent opportunity.
