Compensation: Starting at $25.00/hour, potential increase to $30.00/hour after an initial introductory period (1-2 weeks).
IFL Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Industrial Electrician to join our team for a major decommissioning project. You will play a critical role in clearing out a 700,000 square-foot industrial facility.
Your primary responsibility will be the safe and systematic disconnection and removal of power from large-scale industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely disconnect and "lockout/tagout" industrial machinery and equipment from substations and transformers.
De-energize, strip, and remove electrical wiring from machines and associated areas.
Ensure critical building power remains functional, specifically for overhead cranes and general lighting, while systematically
decommissioning other systems.
Work efficiently and safely, adhering to all industry and company safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with the project team.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Proven ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills ("good people skills").
Reliable transportation.
Valid government-issued ID.
Ability to start ASAP (as soon as possible).
Compensation and Additional Information
The position offers a competitive starting wage of $25.00 per hour.
We offer a prompt wage review and increase to $30.00 per hour for the right candidate following successful performance during the initial 1-2 week introductory period.
Team Opportunity: If you have qualified electrical crew members you regularly work with, we are open to considering a 3-person electrical crew (you included) for this project.
