Candidate will work with a construction crew on various projects from; mass earthwork excavation to installing Water mains, Storm, and Sanitary Sewers, and concrete site prep.
Required experience with site grading, earthwork, site preparation, and underground utility installation. Knowledge of trench safety and OSHA guidelines are a must.
Our service areas include all of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Major Duties Include:
- Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Reads and interprets plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
- Controls traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
- Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Digs ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
- Positions, joins, aligns, and seals structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes.
- Measures, marks, and records openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.
- Unloads, and identifies building materials, machinery, and tools, and distributes them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Erects and disassembles scaffolding, shoring braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
- Maintain initiative to preserve the flow of work.
- Work under stress and with commitment to deadlines.
- Complete projects and/or reports in accurate and timely manner
