Position Description:The Engineer Intern effectively assists Manufacturing Management with various productivity initiatives and special projects.
Responsibilities:- Work together with floor personnel to gather samples and discover methods to improve tool quality and efficiency
- Support engineers
- Create work instructions where needed
- Manage and organize multiple priorities
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coursework towards Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes
- Experience with AutoCad is a plus
