- Position is with Health & Wellness division
- So far manager is seeing test automation engineers only. Experience around writing automated unit test for Java and code reviews are key to a successful candidate.
- Experience monitoring application performance during performance tests or production usage using APM and other monitoring tools to isolate the fault domain, dive deep into application code, and identify root cause of performance issues
- Experience monitoring resource usage for physical servers, application servers and databases to drive optimization changes in production environment
- Have collaborated with development leads and project team to review and refine application NFRs, SLAs, & KPIs to create acceptance criteria and performance budgets necessary to measure, validate, and improve performance
- Interacted with project teams, development, operations, and infrastructure resources to recommend solutions to remediate performance issues
- Developed Shift left performance practices including execution of performance tests in Continuous Integration & Delivery pipeline
- Guide testing efforts involving coaching, mentoring, active participations in application code reviews, and contributing to improvements to frameworks, tools, processes,
- Lead best practices for both Software engineers and Quality engineers like Risk based testing, TDD (Test Driven Development) and Shift left practices including execution of automated tests in CICD pipelines.
- Leverage Java knowledge to build Junits for both front end code changes and web services/API.
- Provide oversight to ensure automation test suites are well maintained and operational
- Participate in the interviewing, selection, and onboarding of QA team members
- Analyze Application requirements and design and provide feedback on completeness and testability
- Provide accurate estimates for QA efforts including test case design/scripting, test data management, test execution, and defect correction
- Assist in Front end, Data Integrity and backend testing including DB and services/API.
- Report on risks to timeline to all stakeholders and guide Team to resolve/mitigate risks to project timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage
- Identify opportunities to increase Test automation coverage at all levels of testing Unit, INT, SOA, E2E and Regression.
- Leverage technical expertise to develop, maintain and execute automation tests and CICD pipelines
- Provide ideas and feedback on test automation frameworks and opportunities to improve
- Participate in all ceremonies, meetings, and sessions held for the project and team
- Assist with building and maintaining test environments and driving their best use
- Understand 's core quality metrics and how to utilize them to foster quality improvement
