Description There's currently a long-term contract / temporary opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join a rapidly-growing Manufacturing company. Handling project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting, the Senior Financial Analyst consultant is the primary contact for all financial questions. In order to provide decision-making support for future company investments, you will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments in accordance with public reporting requirements. This Senior Financial Analyst will be situated in Blue Ash, Ohio.Key responsibilitiesExecute assistance in all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Build positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Grow business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to drive improved management reporting by tracking financial results more discreetly and accurately
Analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates to senior leadership all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly management reports
Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Coordinate with Functional leads to draft management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and guarantee alignment of operational initiatives
Capable of communicating updates to senior management, analyzing financial results, and distilling/synthesizing key issues in the course of advancing existing management reporting Requirements - Skills in critical thinking and the ability to operate effectively with management
Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Efficient with process reengineering and optimization
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Proven knowledge of budget forecasting
Well-founded grasp of forecasting
Foundational knowledge in Month-end Reports
Practical knowledge of Consolidated Financial
Monthly Reporting experience required
General familiarity with forecasting & modeling
Wide ranging experience with Consolidation Processes
Month-end Journal Entries experience
Quality experience with Consolidated Financial Statements
Experience with Month-end Financial
Comprehensive knowledge of cost analysis
Earlier work involving Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
