Job Summary:
The Install Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all aspects of siding & roofing installations are carried out efficiently, effectively, and fit the strategies of organizational policies, procedures, and goals.
Essential Functions:
Conduct re-measure on all new contracts; determine product needed, labor needed, and ensure ordering procedures are completed.
Oversee installation crews and ensure that products are installed to both company and industry standards (AAMA, NFRC, VSI, etc.)
Work with Install Manager to ensure goals are prioritized and met
Supervise, train, and develop crews
Confirm timely and thorough installation of product
Maintains a safe working environment in compliance with federal, state and local laws and ensures all required safety training is completed
Follow-up with customers and be sure any open concerns are addressed in a timely manner, resolve any potential or existing customer service issues
Guarantee compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
Certify business is conducted to the highest ethical standards
Ability to adjust and re-prioritize work flow on a daily basis
Complete necessary paperwork and turn in promptly
Visit installation sites and interact with crews and customers on a daily basis
Ensure lead installers are completing final review of completed work with customer, completing any open items, and obtaining signed project completion form
Assure proper time management and route selection by all direct reports
Ensure collection of jobs in a timely manner
Additional duties as needed or required
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent minimum education requirement
Minimum of 1year experience in related field; 2- 3 years of industry experience preferred
Self-driven with strong time management skills
OSHA, Installation Masters training, and/or additional related certifications helpful
Clean driving and solid attendance records
Proven leadership skills and ability to train others
Proficient knowledge of installation/service methods for window, door, and siding projects
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and customer service skills
Solid computer skills including use of MS Office Suite and email
Solid attendance record
Ability to ensure each job is completed in compliance with written safety policies
