Duration: 6 Month, Contract to HireLocation: Cincinnati, OH 45202 (Open to remote candidates)

Our large, Retail client, with over $150B in annual revenue, and operating, either directly or through its subsidiaries, 2,750 locations and maintains markets in 35 states.

JOB SUMMARY The Backend Developer will work closely with the native prescriptions team in Health and Wellness. This team will be responsible for the design and development of the Health and Wellness software applications, as well as testing the applications for any bugs or defects before final production of the projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting software components in accordance with software engineering best practices
  • Participate in the application technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks
  • Communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance with standards
REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5+ years of service development experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Experienced with tools such as PCF, Azure, ReactiveX Observables, Lombok, Oracle, SQL, Golang, JIRA, Postman, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD
  • Kotlin experience is a plus
  • Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required
