This new position will work to assure that our Rewards practices are not only compliant with all legal requirements but also work to fulfill our commitment to FIS colleagues in providing an environment of fairness in all of FIS’ Rewards practices.  About the teamThe FIS Rewards team is a global team managing all levels of compensation, benefits, and performance for FIS employees.  This position is a member of the Governance & Compliance team as part of the FIS Rewards function, reporting to the Director, Rewards Compliance & Governance.  This is a new position, on a new team with the opportunity to contribute to crafting a first-class and proactive governance and compliance function within the Rewards team.The successful candidate will work with Rewards Leadership and have contact across the organization including The People Office (HR), Legal & ESG teams.What you will be doingDeveloping an inventory and calendar of global compliance and governance activities in the Rewards function.At direction of attorney utilize detailed statistical analysis and tools to assure an environment of fair pay.Establish foundational principles for the assessment and assignment of U.S. FLSA status and compliance.  Conduct training in this area. Partner in determining FLSA Exemption status for newly created job profiles.  Monitor and routinely audit employee population for FLSA Exemption compliance.Conduct regular audit of colleague pay for compliance with minimum rate regulations on to assure compliance with regulatory statute.Participate in regulatory filings, coordinating and/ or preparing reports.Conduct compensation research and ensure compliance with leave of absence policies (Short-term disability, FMLA, active duty).Review and report out on global benefit governance annually.Support OFFCP audits by compiling data, doing research, and responding to official queries.Participate in development of compliance sessions/presentations. Create and present training to promote compliance awareness.Identify opportunities for process improvement.Provide updates for periodic reports.Track compensation reporting requirements and compliance efforts in other countries where FIS operates (e.g., UK Gender Pay Reporting, France Gender Pay Equality reporting, Switzerland Gender Equality Act, Australia Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, etc.).Design and coordinate training and communications on the topic of governance and compliance.What you will needBachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Knowledge of Rewards practices about compensation and benefits.Strong Excel skills including quantitative data analysis.Strong communication skills.Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to compliance issues.Ability to follow and conduct a compliance monitoring program.Ability to recognize and manage sensitive materials in a confidential manner.Basic knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday.Attention to detail, analytical/reasoning, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.Added bonus if you haveProfessional designations in Rewards (CCP etc.) or HR (SHRM etc.).Experience interacting with government regulatory authorities.What we offer youAt FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
