Searching for an Integration Specialist who has experience with multiple integration tools. Tools can include: Mulesolft, TIBCO, and WebSphere among others. This is a consultative position to advise on a technical environment which operates with multiple different systems.

This is a remote opportunity.Must be eligible for hire in the U.S. without sponsorship.Operates in EST hours.

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you'll help provide technical leadership in the design, delivery and maintenance of integrations and solutions to best support the architecture strategy and vision of our team. Extensive knowledge and experience with the broad range of technologies used in integrating systems and solutions, along with a good grasp of architectural concepts, is essential to the effectiveness of this position. Additionally, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to coordinate, guide and influence multiple teams to reach agreement is fundamental to this role.

Ensure Strategic Alignment
  • Develop an understanding for our overall enterprise strategy and underlying business models.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team develop integration strategies and standard methodologies.
  • Optimally communicate integration strategy vision, business value and to all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment.
Define and Design
  • Rationalize integration requirements to build simple, efficient, scalable and supportable integration solution designs.
  • Understand all aspects of integration services platform configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including changes and potential system implications.
Ensure Delivery Excellence
  • Lead and coordinate the successful implementation and delivery of integration solutions.
  • Follow defined processes and utilize prescribed tools to document progress in accordance with the software engineering process.
  • Develop and execute integration test plans.
  • Partner with operations, infrastructure teams and integration solution providers to maintain required levels of performance and availability for integration services
  • Provide support assistance as needed for mission-critical integration problems and issues.
Collaborate and Communicate
  • Maintain high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality.
Build Proficiency
  • Serve as a mentor to peers and less experienced developers regarding integration tools and practices.
Technical skills you'll need:
  • 5+ years experience developing Java programs and applications.
  • 5+ years of Agile and/or Waterfall development experience.
  • Solid grasp of SOA and current integration development practices, concepts and technologies (SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, JMS)
  • Experience working with an integration middleware platform.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL development.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus and Oracle Enterprise Manager a plus.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements and specifications into technical specifications and solution designs.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, meaningful work experience.
