- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Six+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated experience in key IT Service Management areas (Incident, Problem, Knowledge and Change Management)
- Proficient w/ AIX/Linux platform
- While focus would be on AIX/Linux based solutions, ability to support and deploy Windows Server based solutions a plus.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and requesting network services: Routing, Firewalls, NATs, etc.
- Working knowledge of real-time messaging and batch file transfer implementation and troubleshooting using different packages and methodologies (MQ, FTP, SCP, Sterling, etc)
- Experience with application integrations to databases in Oracle, MS-SQL and DB2; include ability to assist with management of databases with database management team participation.
