- Executes test cases for clinical applications following a structured format defined by SOPs.
- Documents test case execution results in accordance with SOPs.
- Prepares validation plans and validation summary reports.
- Reviews, and gains approval from manager, all change controls associated with the validated systems in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensures test scripts challenge the functional requirements and adequately demonstrates that the application meets the expectations of the end-user.
- Revises test scripts, as necessary, based on requirement changes or upgrades in application functionality.
- Executes test scripts accurately to produce evidence that the system consistently performs its intended functions reliably, proving the software functions properly.
- Provides ongoing support to end-users during the implementation and continued use of validated platforms, ensuring that appropriate training, support and maintenance is provided.
- Proactively identifies areas where automation can improve the validation testing process.
- Trains end-users as needed on IT systems and enhancements.
- Monitors and implements new releases to systems/software as they become available.
- Maintains necessary documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Meets all project deadlines on time and on budget.
- Provides support to other areas within the IT department as necessary.
- 2 – 4 years’ experience executing test cases for large end-user facing applications.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing processes.
- Experience with writing test cases.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
- Experience in executing test cases in a large IT environment
