Job Description

In this role, you will be expected to drive Epsilon's mission to grow our clients' businesses through the transformative application of data. Your key priorities will include but are not limited to:
  • Build new features and feature enhancements; contribute to ongoing maintenance
  • Contribute to ongoing refinements of our coding style and development processes
  • Embrace solid, agile development practices, including test-driven development, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Design, create, maintain and optimize a modern web application platform for user interaction, data visualization and workflow management.
  • Think quickly, communicate clearly and work collaboratively with product, engineering, QA and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications

To successfully accelerate and impact the business objectives in this role, you must bring a fresh perspective with prior experience. Qualification requirements and experience include but are not limited to:
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills
  • High energy level, strong team player and good work ethic
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an object-oriented language such as Java.
  • Strong background REST web services, Spring Framework and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Spark, analytical models and big data platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with software infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible is preferable.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in managing production support.
  • Working Knowledge of Redshift and Hbase is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in latest UI technologies.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals - object oriented design, data structures, algorithm - design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Responsible for completing all phases of the system development life cycle and all architectural layers (User Interface, Web Services, Business Logic, Data Services, etc.) of web based applications.
  • Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
  • Understanding of Continuous integration tools e.g. GOCD,Jenkins.
Secondary Qualifications
  • DevOps experience with AWS
  • Digital Marketing and Advertising domain knowledge
