A small computer services company near downtown Cincinnati needs to add a Windows network technician to our growing team. This position will provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical support for our clients' Windows desktop users as well as supporting their Windows servers, firewalls, networking equipment, etc.
The person in this position will be part of a true team of people working together, without being micro-managed. We have a family-like work environment (although none of us are related) and none of the office politics of a large company. We have little to no drama, and we like it that way.
In addition to a competitive salary this position includes medical and dental insurance after 30 days and a matching 401K program after one year. All employees receive eight paid holidays plus your birthday off (with pay).
Joining our team requires a customer-service mindset as well as professional appearance, dress and demeanor. We are looking for someone who is humble (no giant egos, please), hungry to work and hungry to learn. Our team members must be people-smart and "play well" with others.
This position requires at least two years of real-world, hands-on experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktops, as well as a good working knowledge of PC hardware and common software applications. Experience with Windows servers and Active Directory is preferred. Good verbal and written communications skills are a must.
On-site support of our Cincinnati-based customers is part of the job, so a reliable vehicle is also required. Please note that this is NOT a work-from-home position.
