Laskey Costello, a public accounting firm in Lakewood, OH is seeking an experienced staff accountant. All candidates must be available to work 50+ hours per week during tax season (late January - late April). Staff accountant will be working under the direction of a senior accountant and will be responsible for financial statement preparation, payroll processing, preparing individual and corporate income tax returns, and other various tasks assigned. Candidate must have well developed communication skills.
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is mandatory
Ability to organize, self-prioritize and work independently
Professional written and verbal communication skills
3 or more years of relevant experience is required
Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting is preferred
