Must Have Skills: Salesforce / Copado Role Must Have Skills:"Demonstrate passion and ownership by embracing all aspects of Salesforce release execution, Copado adoption and manual releases automation. Use of Copado for deployment starting from setup to creating User Stories and to Promote, Deploy and Collaborate closely with team members and business community.The Salesforce Release management lead is ultimately responsible for the deployment of all software releases, the care and maintenance of all Salesforce environments (sandboxes) as well as executing on the CIBTD (Continuous Integration, Build, Test & Deployment) framework used by the team. Work closely with developers/engineers and the Scrum masters to co-ordinate minor and major releases during the year Knowledge of agile mythologies and release process Lead, advocate and enforce solid CIBTD (Continuous Integration, Build, Test & Deployment) best practices within the Salesforce environment. Technical oversight of the automated CI tool (Copado) Manage all Salesforce environments (new and existing), carefully plan environment refreshes Regularly maintain and update branches of all Salesforce environments Develop a deep contextual system-level understanding (connections, dependencies, integrations) for all tools/systems/environments that are owned/supported in the environment BS in Computer Science or related field required 5-8 years of experience in release management, software version control, software deployment, DevOps Salesforce admin Certification (Required) Copado Admin Certification Preferred 3-5 years' experience administering or managing deployments on the Salesforce platform (Enterprise edition or higher), preferably in a large multi-dimensional organization. Experience deploying custom code and configurations across a Salesforce platform ecosystem (production and sandboxes) Solid understanding of tools and best practices for Continuous Integration, Build, Test & Deployment [Ant/Git/Jenkins] Experience working the Copado DevOps Platform is a major plus!"Brian K.
