ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement new features while continuously improving the quality of technical products and applications, Serve as hands-on the developer on an agile squadWork collaboratively with other software engineers to define system architectures and design solutionsDevelop software meeting code quality standards and metrics. Practice test-driven developmentParticipate in communities of practice by contributing to and following standards, reviewing others' code, and sharing knowledgeAchieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable codeMaintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvementRemain current on IT trends pertaining to their area of practiceAssist with problem resolution for end users and customersContribute to the definition of operational procedures for software developmentMaintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit requirements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 1+ years of experience1 to 3 years’ experience in Java 8 or higher1 to 2 years’ experience in Java Spring & Spring MVC1 to 2 years’ experience in micro-service-oriented architecture & development1 to 2 years’ experience supporting vendor, commercial off-the-shelf applications1 to 2 years’ experience with Relational Databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, etc)1 to 2 years’ experience working in agile/scrum teamsPrior experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrogUnderstanding of Software Development MethodologiesUnderstanding of security best practicesStrong problem-solving skillsStrong collaboration skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
