Our client near Cleveland has TWO (2) openings for Sr Managed FIle Transfer Engineers to join their application integration team, which includes infrastructure design and support as well as vendor and partner management Day to day responsibilities for these resources will include troubleshooting and repairing infrastructure defects that affect system performance, working with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues, deploying and configuring infrastructure and providing infrastructure support, and more. This is a 12 month renewable contract with likely extensions as our client has a very large IT shop with lots of opportunities across many teams.

The skills being sought for these roles include Linux (preferably Red Hat), FTP protocols, experience with supporting outside vendors, Windows Distributed environment support, strong documentation and communication skills, experience with Cloud technologies, etc.

Essential Skills:

- Knowledge of FTP Protocols- SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, etc. - Linux Support (RedHat OS preferred) - Outside Vendor B2B Support - Strong Communication skills to work with Business vendors outside of Progressive - Strong Documentation skills

Plusses:

- Windows Distributed Environments Support - GFS2 (or other) Cluster file system support - Cloud Enablement (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) - SSH Key Knowledge - Mainframe Experience - IBM Sterling File Gateway or other enterprise class data transfer applications - Working knowledge of Security Certificates - PGP Key Encryption Knowledge - ESP Enterprise Job Scheduler Experience
