Our client near Cleveland has a long term Database Developer opportunity. This resource will be working on tickets within a SQL environment, provide consultation on SSAS multi-dimensional cubes, troubleshoot SSAS and SQL issues, and be involved with various other projects involving upgrading or expanding SQL and SSAS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong skills with data modeling, SQL Server design and support, data mart and OLAP cube development using SSAS/MDX, and strong written and verbal communication skills. This position will start out remotely but once our client deems it safe to do so, resources will be required to work on-site. This will not happen before 2022.

Essential Skills:

Develop the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, tabular and multidimensional cubes to meet business requirements. - Design, implement, and support Microsoft SQL databases. - Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation. - Strong SQL experience with both transactional and OLAP/cube databases. - Experienced in multi-dimensional cube modeling. - Experience in developing Data marts and OLAP cubes using SSAS/MDX. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
