Our client near Cleveland is looking for a Senior level SQL Server DBA for a long-term opportunity. The role will mainly entail supporting on-premise PDW appliance for projects and operational work and SQL server support The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with SQL Server, Windows Server clustering, transactional SQL, large database experience, and data warehousing. Experience with PDW / MPP is a huge plus. Responsibilities will include project work as well as day to day operational work. The contractor will help to design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex SQL and PDW environments as well as work with software developers, consultants, and system engineers to create scalable and repeatable SQL DB solutions.

This position will start off remotely but once it is deemed safe to do so, resources will be working on-site in the Cleveland office. Return to the office will not happen before 2022.
