Experienced Chef / Kitchen Manager
Established restaurant, prime location, scratch kitchen seeks Chef / Kitchen Manager to manage and operate all aspects of daily operation and cost controls
This is a working position. The right candidate will handle day to day operations, ordering, scheduling and working a station.
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
-At least two years kitchen management experience.
-At least five years experience in full service, from scratch kitchens.
-High level of organization.
-High standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
-Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to manage a kitchen effectively and economically, while maintaining and retaining employee morale.
-Manage ordering, Inventory, Prep, Execution, Scheduling, Training, Hiring
-Integrity, ability to work well without close supervision.
-Ability to follow recipes, and a palate to make adjustments as needed.
-Creative and food driven, able to come up with daily specials
