Create a Safe and Nurturing Home Environment: Ensure our clients feel secure and comfortable in their living spaces. Your presence will provide peace of mind and a sense of stability.
-Community Safety: Support clients in navigating their communities safely. Your vigilance and care will help them enjoy all the joys and opportunities their neighborhoods offer.
-Daily Living: Bathing, Oral care, & Hygiene
-Meal Preparation and Housekeeping: Cook nutritious and delicious meals tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Keep the living space clean, organized, and welcoming.
-Shopping Assistance: Help clients with grocery shopping and other necessary errands, making sure they have everything they need for a fulfilling life.
-Companionship: Offer heartfelt companionship and engage in meaningful activities that enrich our clients’ daily lives. Your kindness and conversation will bring joy and comfort.
-Medical Appointment and Medication Management: Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments.
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records to ensure health and well-being.
-Community Involvement: Encourage and facilitate participation in community events and activities.
Help clients connect with others and enjoy a vibrant, engaged life.
-Life Balance: Work to create a harmonious balance in clients’ lives, integrating their personal needs, preferences, and goals to promote overall well-being.
Qualifications:
A warm and compassionate nature with a genuine interest in improving the lives of others.
Experience or training in home health care, particularly with developmentally delayed individuals, is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
