Okuma CNC Operator involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Okuma brand computer numerical control (CNC) lathes and mills to produce high-precision parts. Key duties include reading blueprints, programming Okuma's OSP controls, loading materials, performing routine maintenance, inspecting parts for quality, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skills in machining, and familiarity with CNC programming and quality control

Machine Operations
Use of Micrometers
Mechanically inclined
Use of precision measurement instruments to hold tight tolerances
Follow all directions as noted on work orders
Ensure that all parts processed meet the customer required quality level
Maintain the proper housekeeping around machine
Follow daily production schedule
Complete all production paperwork for each job
Ensures that all completed parts and associated Travelers are moved along process
