Maintenance Technician! Direct Hire! 1st Shift 6a - 4: 30p Monday - Friday$26/ hour
Job Summary:Responsible for installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Visually inspects and tests machinery, cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery and equipment and follow preventative maintenance procedures
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
- Replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools
- Will report to Maintenance Manager
- High school diploma/GED/two year technical degree or certification or
- Four years experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in shop math with ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and use a calculator.
- Experience with automated welding and spot welding set up and repair is a plus.
