Apex Systems is seeking an Electrical Hardware Technician for our Beachwood, OH location. This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Drafter who excels with updating and creating Electrical drawings and schematics using Visio and/or AutoCAD. Title: Electrical Hardware Technician Location: Beachwood, OH Length: 6 month project, can be extended based on performance or converted full-time

Required:
  • Ability to modify and create Electrical and mechanical schematics and sketches.
  • Deep experience with Visio to create and edit prints
  • Experience using Visio drafting software
  • Experience wiring and assembling electrical systems.
  • Basic Computer troubleshooting

Job Duties:
  • Preparing technical drawings of electrical wiring systems.
  • Updating electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings and sketches so technicians can assemble hardware accurately.
  • During the drawing process, they analyze information (such as measurements and sketches) provided by engineers, architects and scientists.
  • Ability to create drafts using older drawings and BOMs.

Education:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
