Digital Forensics Corp. is looking for an ethical and keen minded Network Administrator/Forensic Engineer to join our growing Cyber Incident Response team in Cleveland, OH. (This is not a remote position) As part of our companies processes, you would assist us in our collection of digital evidence and implement the recommended security updates for our Clients. This is an exciting position for individuals looking to apply their knowledge of system/network administration.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in Client analysis, discovery and reporting stages

-Gather Client requirements, information and assist in Client calls/updates

-Multitask and jump between multiple Clients/Projects as needed

-Recover media from backup devices or cloud storage, assist in recovery

-Assist in cloning and collecting digital media for analysis/forensic evidence purposes

-Discover and document complex networking environments

-Remotely connect to servers/networks for Administration

-Analyze network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.

-Duplicate environments for testing purposes

-Establish any missing network precedes, data flow and security policies by conferring with Client requirements and our recommendations; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements;

-Interface with technical points of contact as well as our network and cybersecurity departments.

-Assist in documentation/reporting of network vulnerabilities and recommended upgrades, Scope of Work (SoW) documents and other reporting documents.

-Work closely with departmental managers to determine future network needs and plan for network changes based on our assessments.

-Develop case by case strategies to test and implement new equipment or security changes with minimal effect to operations

-Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation for any given project

-Fully support, configure, upgrade and maintain corporate customers networks and in house servers and/or support on-site IT departments to roll out the required changes.

-Install and integrate new servers, services or applications that have been recommended

-Protect organization's values by keeping all information confidential and secure at all times.

-Work on a wide array of technologies

REQUIREMENTS

-5+ years successful network troubleshooting experience (Vulnerabilities testing, performance monitoring, problem solving)

-Proven experience in a network administrator role

-Hands on experience in networking, routing, switching and security administration

-Knowledge of penetration/pen testing

-Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure

-Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is required

-Strong familiarity with backup and recovery methodologies

-Familiar with windows/Linux server administration

-Active Directory administration, Group policies

-Familiar with AWS/Cloud Administration

-Hands on experience with virtualization technologies

-Familiar with shell scripting

-Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.

-Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

-Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

-Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.

-Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.

-Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.

-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Dependable and flexible when necessary.

-Must be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision

-Proven experience managing a large and complex network environments

-Effective problem-solving skills

-Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
