Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a candidate with comprehensive knowledge of the varying nature of software, hardware, and infrastructure projects and capable of working effectively on small, medium, and large projects, spanning both internal development and product selection/acquisition; solid experience in all aspects of the systems development lifecycle and able to lead projects through the entire life cycle. Ability to participate in technical and business meetings outside of local office hours (20% of the time).You will be joining a team of 14 other networking professionals.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or advanced training and certifications on Cisco Systems including CCIE and CCNP (Routing and Switching), advanced firewall training on Checkpoint CCSE or CCES.
  • Direct experience supporting large networks, including Firewalls (Checkpoint), WAN and LAN services, Proxy Services (Zscaler), Wireless, Datacenter, and VoIP networks.
  • Minimum of five years of the following equipment: Cisco routers and switches, Cisco SD-WAN, Checkpoint Firewalls, Firemon Monitoring, Solarwinds Orion, ZScaler technologies, Wireshark sniffer, Avaya IP telephony infrastructure, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Prime, MS Azure technologies and Cloud integration.
  • Must be expert level on Routing and Switching (i.e. MPLS, OSPF, BGP, RIP etc.)
  • Enterprise, Collaboration, DataCenter, Wireless experience/expertise is a plus
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in providing excellent technical support for international-based enterprise networks with the ability to adapt to industry trends and evolve the global network.

  • Firewall stateful inspection
  • Bandwidth capacity planning
  • Firewall audit logs (SIEM)
  • QoS technologies
  • Firewall policy management
  • Core and edge router design
  • External DNS Services
  • LAN and WAN technologies
  • Enterprise Proxy Services
  • Voice (including VoIP) system design and deployment
  • VPN Remote Node Appliance
  • Monitoring Software
  • Routing Technologies
  • Wireless LAN technologies and standards
  • Audio/Video technologies
(2) Working knowledge or experience with one or more of the following technologies:
  • MPLS carrier WAN services
  • VLAN trunking/tagging
  • BGP routing metrics
  • VPN (IPSec and GRE)
  • QoS
  • SIP Trunk GatewaysFirewalls
  • Rate limiting WAN controls
  • Static and Dynamic routing protocols
  • IPv4 and IPv6 Protocols
