Sr. Systems Engineer Modis IT is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for a permanent position in Cleveland, Ohio. The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for application management, installation, and updates as well as network troubleshooting on multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with end users on various applications in multiple environments.
  • Update, upgrade, deploy to test groups, verify, , deploy to maintenance, setup, configure, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain more than 50 applications.
  • Directly involved in all aspects of the existing infrastructure and support deployment of modifications that will optimize system reliability, availability, serviceability, security, scalability and performance.
  • Maintenance and administration of virtual solutions.
  • Test and tune up of network facilities or remote offices.
  • Work with vendors/carriers and technical staff on implementation, optimization and ongoing management.
  • Provide high-level support and technical expertise in a multi-application environment.
  • Troubleshoot applications.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 ticket escalation.
  • Facilitate O365 Exchange migrations and Exchange management.
  • Provide post-implementation support and on-going support measures.

    • Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field specializing in application support.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (MCP, networking, MCSA, MCSE) preferred
  • Required Skills: SQL, MS Office Suite, Network Infrastructure, MFA, Active Directory, Office365, backup, and maintenance.
  • Citrix knowledge or experience preferred.
