This position is part of a team that fulfills client requests for background checks, responds to client inquiries and facilitates problem resolution to client satisfaction. This is not a call center environment, but rather a professional office setting. The available position is in our Columbus, OH, office Monday - Friday with hours to be determined depending on availability.
Responsibilities:
ï§ Primary responsibilities include researching, compiling and processing orders for employment background checks.
ï§ Responding to client inquiries via phone, email and live chat.
ï§ Providing client training on the effective use of our service.
This position requires independent judgment, the ability to work with minimal supervision and oversight to achieve productivity standards, effective problem solving and excellent phone skills. Minimum Requirements:
ï§ Education:
High school diploma, required
ï§ Experience:
One to two years of customer service in a professional, business setting, required
Two to three years of computer experience, required
ï§ Skills and Abilities/Competencies:
Previous employment screening experience, highly desirable
Familiarity with public or court records, preferred
Organized, self-starter, who is able to make independent decisions and prioritize projects
Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines and independently solve problems
Ability to assimilate a lot of information quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, required
Technical proficiency and ability to learn and operate a variety of software applications
Ability to be at desk/work on computer for 8-hour shift
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Team oriented and flexible
