Top Skills:- Strong route/switch background (BGP, OSPF, Nexus switches)- Data center technology:ACIFirewalls (ASA/Palo)Load balancer (F5)ProxiesBrief Description: Network Engineer 3 - successful candidate will provide 24x7 operational support for Enterprise Network organization.Detailed Description: • Designs, installs and configures network and security infrastructure and NMS/monitoring tools.• Assists with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as required.• Maintains documents and updates the network and security infrastructure, tests and implements vendor security patches, implement workarounds for unpatched security vulnerabilities.• Troubleshoots problems with applications, network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN appliances, proxy servers, DNS appliances and Wireless devices.• Makes corrective actions when necessary following change control guidelines and polices.• Create all required technical documentation in accordance with Change Control and project management processes and procedures.• Provide after hours on-call support as needed.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Networking or equivalent experience.• 7+ years of experience with routers, switches, VPN appliances, firewalls, proxy's, load Balancers, DNS appliances, wireless devices with experience of end-to end systems , implementation, operations and with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls, Proxies, F5 LTM/GTM/ASM, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Apcon and OPNet.• 3-5 years of experience with UNIX/Linux.• In-depth experience with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF.• Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design• Advanced understanding of performance and monitoring • Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology • Advanced understanding of best practices and HNB policies • Advanced troubleshooting skills • Technical certifications as required, CCNP preferred.• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to work both independently and in a group.• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize.
