- Should have deep domain expertise in Cards Issuing and understanding of the overall Cards & Payments ecosystem and value chains
- Acquisition/Origination, Authorization, Core Processing, Clearing and Settlement, Disputes, Collections, Loyalty/Rewards, and Statements
- Relevant working experience and exposure on a Cards Processing Platform – such as TSYS and/or FDR Omaha Cards Platform, etc
- Exposure of managing large scale platform conversion consolidation or digital transformation projects in Cards Payment network domain for large global banks
- Should have good connect of Cards Payments business processes functions should be well versed with ecosystem requirements especially for Store Cards processing
- Experience of Cards Migration platform Proven Business Functions expertise in Cards issuing domain
- Reissue, Card Request, Products - Starter Card, Secured Card, Conversion for Co-branded card, etc
- Authorizations, Digital Authorizations (Tokenization) – Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Finance charge calculation, Average Daily Balance, Fees, Repayment Calculation, Minimum Payment Calculation, Payment Allocation, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the Cards Issuing domain
- Relevant working experience and exposure on a Cards Processing Platform and Architecture understanding
- Knowledge of Visa and Master card regulations, compliance, and solutions that can be integrated with card Platforms.
- Functional knowledge and solutions expertise of Core Cards Processing, Authorizations, Originations, Clearing, and Settlement, etc.
- In detail understanding (functional and architecture) of Cards interfaces and interdependencies of critical functions (authorization, originations, statements, loyalty/rewards, Fulfilment, disputes).
- Hands Architecture (functional & technical) implementation experience of a Cards processing platform in a card issuing environment
- Detailed understanding of Business Processes behind the Cards sub-systems and the functionalities that it delivers
- Ability to chart out functional, technical, parameter, environment & interface aspects of the solution when provided with a complex problem or requirement
- Ability to review requirements, come out with multiple solutions and provide a clear choice decision using factors including estimation, simplicity-complexity of the solution, and fit into the overall architecture
- Articulate and facilitate conversations with business owners and delivery teams
- Ability to lead a team of Solution Analysts/SMEs in deriving functional & technical solution aligned with the requirements
- Good to have hands-on experience of managing key interfaces like Credit Bureaus, Fraud solutions like Falcon, Triad & Raptor, Experian solutions like strategy manager, and DWH products like Teradata and Informatica.
