The foundation of BV Operations provides the ability for professional to move where their skills are needed and allows for a collaborative and innovative culture offering greater challenges and career development opportunities. BV Operations as a group supports all three market sectors at BV - Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity, Commercial & Industrial. Within BV Operations, this role will be a part of the Civil Infrastructure sub-discipline and will be focused on the design, procurement and construction of a variety of water infrastructure support efforts including, but not limited to, treatment facilities, conveyance/collection systems, and Program Management.Key Responsibilities Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. With minimal supervision, applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods. Expands knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables. Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Reviews engineering work and/or assignments of early career professionals. Is responsible for one or more of the following: overseeing collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work; leading smaller production teams; and serving as the responsible charge for a project. Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects. Responsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on less complex projects. Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work on less complex projects. Typically provides support to business development or pursuit activities.#LI-MK1Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration Thorough understanding or water and wastewater design (i.e., Infrastructure, Conveyance, Pump Stations/Lift Stations) Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorshipMinimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
