Design, manage, plan, and implement Exchange in an Enterprise Network. Designs, plan, implements, and manage SMTP relays in an enterprise environment. Maintain security compliance at the Exchange server and enterprise level using all applicable DOD security check list and tasking's. Create Exchange disaster recovery documentation. Administer Active Directory.

Job Responsibilities

The Administrator will support the day-to-day operations of DLA Email System to include proper functioning of the systems and troubleshoot problems as they arise. The support of these requirements are for both the NIPRNET and SIPRNET. This position will be working off site but will need to be within commuting distance of a DLA Major Subordinate Command (MSC). Contractor may be asked to attend meeting at local DLA site or come on site to assist with work related to his job or attend training. Administrator will support subset of applications to support DLA Email system as a whole, i.e., Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, SPAM Filtering, Content Filtering and support, monitoring the flow and delivery of messaging traffic. The Administrator will keep the email environment update with the latest Microsoft updates and patched as they are provided by DLA Information Operation Information Assurance. Administrators Primary focus will be the support of Exchange and Active Directory related tickets sent to the directory services que and the completing of incidents assigned to the directory services. These incidents consist of researching mail relate actions such as researching date and time messages where sent/received, recovery of deleted mail items, and extraction of mailbox related items. This position will require strong communication skills and a person that is very meticulous. Documentation on actions taken is key and the ability to follow complex procedures.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or other related field 7+ years overall work experience

Five (5) years of progressive experience in Microsoft Exchange 2010 or newer administration experience. With At least one (1) year of experience occurring within the past two (2) years. Five (5) years of Active Directory administration. With At least one (1) year of experience occurring within the past two (2) years. Two (2) years of Microsoft PowerShell for exchange experience

Security/Certification Requirements

Sensitivity Level: IT-I - Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IAT Level II Computing Environment: MCSE:2012, MCSA:WS2012, MCSE 2016, MCSA:WS2016, MCA: ES, MCSM: Exchange, MC: Azure AA, or DLA approved CE

Other Job Specific Skills

Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software or networking related problems. Ability to plan and coordinate the deployment of new technology and resolve technical problems individually and as a senior project participant. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.
