Required Skills:

4+ Years' as a Network Administrator
Experience deploying, managing, and ensuring stability of LAN/WAN infrastructure technologies
Experience with Juniper(Cisco or Nokia also acceptable)
Experience configuring, servicing, and supporting routing and switching platforms
Experience troubleshooting and resolving service and system related issues
Experience with optical transport based networks
Experience creating general standard templates for Methods of Procedures
Experience with Metro Ethernet, Regional Ethernet, and Inter-Regional Services

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of IP routing, including OSPF, ISIS, BGP
Experience with Layer 2 technologies, including VLANS, QnQ
Experience with SONET, DWDM and WAVE
Experience with Metro Ethernet Forum Standards such as EPL and EVPL
Experience following change management policies to perform moves, adds, and changes of systems and equipment
Experience in a service provider environment
